4.Decorative mask removal

A. Remove mask attachment screws from back side of window assy.

B. Gently move mask left or right to access and remove decorative handle screws.

C. Remove mask

 

NOTE: Assure the decorative mask is protected at all times.

5. Inner lens removal

A. Remove screws & stop nuts holding the inner lens in place.

B. Remove inner lens protecting both sides from damage.

6. Blind mod. assy. removal

A. Locate close turn buckle at lower back of window housing. Turn buckle is secured in place w/ screw & stop.

B. To remove turn buckle , un-screw stop nut and remove screw holding turn buckle in place.

C. Carefully un-tie shade string from turn buckle. Assure that all components ( turn buckle, screw & top nut) are stored in a safe location to prevent damage or loss of parts during service.

D. Remove slide tracks from reveal to release lower blind mod. glides (4 places per track).

E. Upper blind mod. is attached with two or three screws and stop nuts depending on size, remove stop nuts and blind will be free from with-in reveal.

 

According to the manual, it is possible to leave the blind free

  1. locating the closed buckle on the lower back of the window casing.
  2. removing the decorative mask.
  3. removing the inner lens.
  4. removing the stop nuts.

Remover as stop nuts (porcas de trava) é a ação que libera os elementos de fixação do conjunto da persiana, permitindo que ela fique solta dentro do alojamento.

As stop nuts prendem os parafusos que mantêm o turn buckle e os módulos da persiana fixos. Ao desrosqueá‑las e retirá‑las, os parafusos podem ser removidos sem esforço, desfazendo a fixação mecânica.

Essa liberação aplica‑se tanto ao conjunto inferior (onde o turn buckle é desparafusado) quanto ao módulo superior (preso por dois/três parafusos e suas respectivas stop nuts); com as porcas retiradas, a persiana fica livre para ser manipulada ou retirada.

Importante: guarde as stop nuts e parafusos em local seguro e proteja componentes adjacentes para evitar perda ou danos durante o serviço.
