Ain't It Fun

I don't mind

Letting you down easy, but just give it time

If it don't hurt now then just wait, just wait a while

You're not the big fish in the pond no more

You are what they're feeding on

So what are you gonna do

When the world don't orbit around you?

So what are you gonna do

When the world don't orbit around you?

Ain't it fun?

Living in the real world

Ain't it good?

Being all alone

Where you're from

You might be the one who's running things

Where you can ring anybody's bell and get what you want

See it's easy to ignore trouble

When you're living in a bubble

Comentário do professor

going to: corresponde à forma inteira de gonna, muito usada em fala e em músicas para indicar futuro ou intenção. Na frase inicial, completa a estrutura "So what are you going to do..." indicando "o que você vai fazer".

is it not: é a forma plena do question tag negativo isn't it. Aqui aparece após "do" para afirmar/confirmar a ideia: "...do, is it not fun?" (equivalente a "isn't it fun?").

is (terceiro e quarto): o apóstrofo 's nas canções pode contrair is ou has, conforme o contexto. Em "who is running things" o 's equivale a is. Em "See it is easy..." o mesmo acontece, preenchendo corretamente as duas últimas lacunas.
